Universidad de Chile is the only university that imparts this career in Chile, so i didn't thought about studying it on another university, besides, my father is a teacher from the university so i have a discount on the price and i really wanted to be in this university instead of another.
My experience so far has been full of stress. I didn't knew much about the dynamic of the career until i was on it, and it's actually a really hard and demandant career, where we have a really full schedule from 8:30 or 10:00 am to 6 pm everyday, withouth any "windows" on the schedule and having to do many works on our houses for the day after, it's really stressfull. Besides, the building is really "poor", little and with not much equipments, which eventually starts to take your motivation away from wanting to be there. We have to be really passionate about it to handle this conditions. But the career is beautiful, i've learned really fun and interesting things, i know how to design an escenary, how to manufacture clothes and do makeups and many more things.
My favorite subject has been the theorical ones, cause i have a lot of practical subjects, and my favorite one has been history of modern and contemporary arts cause i love doing researchs and learn and write about history. And the most significant thing i've learned till now has been manufacturing clothes and doing lights (control the lights).

This is an image from the "Cirque du soleil", my dream job.
nah, did you really work in a circus? That's so amazing. Sorry for my ignorance but I never met someone to study your career, in your blog I can felt that is important to you and let me know something about it, thx!
ResponderEliminarWow,reading this I can feel your passion about your career, even with the stress and the poor conditions of the building, when you really love what you do, is a little bit less bad
